• Study the code examples we discussed in class.

1. Finish the following function definitions from the Lab 1 worksheet:

   • cube
   • sphere-volume
   • distance
   • average
   • middle3-average
   • quadratic+
   • annual-spending
   • candy-temp
   • tax
   • half-turn
   • quarter-turn-left
   • side-by-side
   • pinwheel

2. If you created any image building blocks of your own for question 18 of the lab (using the filled-triangle or overlay procedures), name your building blocks my-block1, my-block2, etc. and include their definitions in your homework file.

Turning in Your Homework

• Save all of your Scheme definitions in a single text file named assign1.scm. Make sure to include your name and the assignment number in a comment at the top of your file (comments in Scheme start with a semicolon and go to the end of the line). In class Tuesday, I will explain how to submit your file using the Homework Upload Site. Please do NOT email your file to me.
